DescriptionLetter of instruction entitled 'Letter No. 3 / by the / Commander-in-Chief / on / Non-fraternisation'. Signed by 'B.L. Montgomery' and dated 14 July 1945. This letter gave instructions to modify his orders to enable the British Forces to talk to adult Germans. Harold Robert Mickleburgh joined the Royal Army Medical Corps on 20th August 1928 until 19th August 1932, then the Territorial Army in 1934, then the 52nd Anti Tank Regiment of the Royal Artillery, on 10th February 1939 until 17th January 1945. He entered service as a Private and his Army Number was 7341854.
