DescriptionA hardback book with a plastic cover called The Water Babies by Charles Kingsley retold by Jane Carruth illustrated by Anne Grahame Johnstone. The front cover is a blue background with a young boy sat naked upon two lily pads floating on a pool of water which has a reed growing out of the water. The young boy is reaching up to grab a dragonfly. The reverse is of a boy chimney sweep holding three brushes and he is covered in soot. There are illustrations inside the book by Anne Grahame Johnstone.
