DescriptionLongcase clock by Thomas Moore, Ipswich. The mahogany case is undecorated and has three brass orb shaped finials on top of the hood. There are three dials the largest has Roman numerals, scroll hands, two key holes, a date aperture and is inscribed 'Moore Ipswich'. The smaller dial which is situated within the top of the larger, shows the seconds and again has a scroll hand. The upper dial is marked strike / silent and has one hand. There are brass spandrels around the dials.
