DescriptionBlack Ashanti clay pipe in the form of three bird's heads curving in to the bowl. 2 of the heads are broken. One of a set of 28 clay pipes collected by Mrs Dewing. So far I have only found 23 in the collection. It is believed that the others still reside in the Pitt Rivers Museum, Oxford, where they were sold to in 1965.
