DescriptionA replica of a gold coin of King Philip II of Macedon (father of Alexander the Great) who reigned 359-336 BC and which inspired the coins of Northern Europe.The object has been identified as part of the LGBT+ collections as it refers to Alexander the Great. Despite marrying, probably for political reasons, Alexander is believed to have had relationships with two men. One was his childhood friend Hephaistion and the other was a Persian eunuch named Bagoas.
