DescriptionA tortoiseshell hearing aid. Oval section box with brass grille in the base, at the top a right angled projection for the ear.This object was chosen for the Wicked Spirits exhibition as it relates to a case of witchcraft accusation in Sible Hedingham. A deaf man, suspected of witchcraft, was thrown in a river outside the Swan Inn there.
