DescriptionSmock of grey linen, with smock panel front and back and bone buttons. Well worn. 1880-1900. Grey colour linen & whole garment is one length of full width fabric, with a false seam on each shooulder & large turn down down collar with embroidered border & small opening at neckline at front, fastening with one bone button & centre panels front and back smocked with white stitching & long sleeves with smocking above the cuffs and a small panel of smocking at the top by the shoulder seam & cuffs with embroidered border & cuffs fasten with one bone button & small linen patch repair on front hip & '342' embroidered in blue on front right collar.
