bodice, bodice

Black silk sleeveless bodice with black glass buttons and black beading around armholes and the bottom of the bodice. Very small size. High neckline with bound edge. Front fastening of 11 hooks and 12 thread eyes - six false buttons on top for show. Armholes and hem are decorated with black bugle beaded braid. Small patch pocket on front left side with same decoration. Single dart front waist to bust on each side. Back made from 4 pieces, with central panel ending in longer fish tail with box pleat (70mm below hem). Two buttons at centre back. Lined with white cotton twill (except fish tail). Internal drawstring at small of back. Slashed darts on inside. No bones.
