Black bodice with black satin ribbon and chenille fringe detail. Princess style & shallow unadorned V neck & long wide sleeves, decorated at wrist with four cloth covered raised buttons and black satin & centre front fastening with ten cloth covered buttons and holes & wide black satin ribbon above hem & 3 1/2 in chenille fringe at hem & front has two panels shaped by darts, back has six shaped panels & unlined ( machine and handstitched & neckline has been altered. Circa 1870
