Pink silk chiffon dress, flapper style. Sleeveless with shoulder straps. Boat neckline. Drop waist with slight gathers at each hip. Pointed scalloped hem. With tie belt attached at the left hip. Solid lines of silver bugle beads, 5cm deep around the neckline, on the shoulders straps and covering the belt. Skirt has six panels divided by vertical lines of bugle beads from the waist to the point of the scallops, evoking a palm pattern. Scallops divided by small panels covered with angled beads. The whole of the rest of the dress is decorated with bugle beads in a vermicular line pattern. Hand stitched. Only the straps and belt are lined, with the same pink silk. c.1926. Must be kept flat.
