DescriptionMan's black wool barathea frock coat with braid piping. Circa 1914. Outside: revered collar with grosgrain piped edging & full length sleeves, with cuffs with same piped edging and two woven buttons each & two woven button fastening at front & waist seam, with darting to shape, coat starts to slope away at front under the waist seam & back of coat made from four shaped panels & split from lower back to bottom of coat, with piped edge and two buttons at lower back. Inside: two breast pockets and one lower down, all with finely piped edges & lined with a black cotton/silk mix & quilted under the arms, and almost all the way across the back & sleeves lined with cream cotton with pin stripes.
