Pale pink ladies dressing gown of pink lawn and white spotted muslin. With lace collar and trim. 1910-1914. Possibly part of a trousseau with 1971.3.1-.2, 1971.5.1-.3. Pink dressing gown made from a layer of pink lawn covered with white spotted cotton muslin, giving it a pale pink appearance. White lace sailor collar with square back. Short sleeves with faggoting down the outer sides and turned back lace cuffs. Decorative pale pink spotted silk bow on left arm, missing on right arm. High waist band of white cotton tape threaded with pale pink spotted silk ribbon. Two decorative bows on opening - one at waist level and one higher. Fastens with two poppers above waist - open from waist downwards. With white lace trim around hem.
