Nightdress of white cotton lawn with baby blue ribbon, broderie anglais and lace on bodice, and pearlised buttons. White cotton lawn nightdress with square neckline of slotted broderie anglais threaded with blue grosgrain ribbon, with lace trim. Upper bodice at front made from panel of broderie anglais decorated with pin tucks and edged with handmade lace. Back of nightdress has 14 vertical pintucks from the neck. Centre front opening finishing at waist, fastening at top with ribbon and with three small pearlised buttons. Sleeves attached to bodice with narrow drawn threadwork tape. Large three quarter length sleeves cuffed with two bands of lace and a piece of lawn with two pin tucks, and a lace edged frill. Side seams have inserted triangular panels.
