DescriptionEarly white cotton braissiere or bust bodice. V neckline at the front and back. Sleeveless. Fastens centerfront with five pearl buttons and fastens centerback with two rows of eight metal eyelets parallel to each other and tied with lacing tipped with metal binding. There are two channels for boning centerback and a loop of white hat elastic at the bottom of the centerfront. Fabric of broderie anglaise with insets of white cotton crochet under the neckline and under the bust. The neckline, arm holes and waist are trimmed with white lace. Name tape sewn in the botton centerfront reads 'Edith Reeves'. Circa 1900-1920
