petticoat, waist petticoat

Black cotton and rayon waist petticoat. Originally a 1920s full slip with dropped waist. Altered to make a waist petticoat, possibly in the 1930s. black cotton and rayon waist petticoat & waist band has been turned in at the top, it has a black lace edge & constructed in three horizontal sections - 405mm opaque top section in two panels, 110mm middle panel of same fabric but cut in opposite direction and 390mm bottom section of rayon knit with plain hem. 1920-1939.
