DescriptionA bonnet of black Jacquard weave silk, gathered at the back with a frilled bavolet. With a frill around the brim. Lined with cream and pink cotton, with black stitching. With cotton ties. Probably made from remnants of fabric pieced together in an unlikely way - possibly from another garment originally. Hand stitched. Circa 1860s.
