Woman's nightdress made of apple green silk and ecru lace. Bodice is made entirely of lace and has vee neckline and cap sleeves which are triangular in shape forming a point over the shoulder, angled in where they attach under the arms and trimmed in ecru net lace. Extensive darning of the lace in a matching cotton around the back. Bodice is attached to the main part of the nightdress with a scalloped seam under the bust. Long tapered godets on each side seam of 730mm for fullness but there is no waist shaping. Two loops sewn into side seams at waist level for belt. Hem is scalloped and trimmed in narrow ecru net lace. Circa 1930s
