Pale apple green rayon(?) satin pyjamas with inset light beige lace panels. Consisting of tunic top and trousers. Shop made.1930s. Top: Pale apple green rayon(?) satin. Tunic style top with long sleeves. High neckline with opening on left side front consisting of three press studs. Neck opening decorated with bow. Sleeves have long vertical lace panels appliqued on the outsides and on the shoulders. Front lace panel from neck to hem, with satin centre. Very well made. Darts each side of shoulders at front. Waist line at back. Trousers: Pale apple green rayon(?) satin. Long trousers with narrow rolled waistband. Side opening, fastening with a popper at the waist and a button on the placket. Six darts at top of trousers, two at front and four at back. Slim waist with wide trouser legs of 400mm. Each leg has a vertical length of lace at the outside bottoms.
