Knee length wine velvet dress with metal belt at front with imitation opals. Label inside back of neck "Princess Frocks" Size 18. 1938-1950 circa. Wine colour velvet dress with low vee neckline, held closed with a hook and eye & Draped and rouched vertical panels over bust ending at top seam of a 4" midriff panel & Bodice front has a vee shaped net section inside & Long set-in sleeves, rouched at shoulders to give a space for pads & Popper fastenings at wrists & Left side placket opening with zip and hook and eye & Tie back velvet belt with large gilt buckle in front decorated with imitation opals, fastening to the dress with poppers & Skirt has three sections at front and one at back making it slim fitting & Label inside back of neck "Princess Frocks" Size 18.
