Blue grey silk satin dress with self covered button detail, lace insert at waist and popper fastening at back. With lace insert at neck. 1919. Vee neckline with machine lace fill-in & drop shoulder sleeves cut in one, Magyar style, with under-arm gusset & sleeves long and tight; ornamental embroidered scroll at wrist & small floral piping showing below sleeve hem at wrist & five satin covered buttons at centre front of bodice & five top-stitched (machined) vertical tucks each side & pin tucks on back of bodice & high waistline & centre back fastening of poppers to lower back & skirt long & slim, with more vertical tucks & false pleat at one side with five covered buttons & covered buttons at bottom back of skirt & multicoloured piping around bodice and sleeves.
