DescriptionWoman's white divided drawers, made at Elmstead Market School by girls in needlework class for Mrs Whiting, Headmistress of the school. 1890. Pair of white cotton divided drawers & deep waistband, fastens with two linen covered buttons at back & joined at front waistband and just below waistband & leg openings are gathered, and are edged with a broderie anglais frill and two rows of feather stitch variation embroidery.
