Pantomime costume for Dame from Mother Goose. Orange bodice with yellow check sleeves and yoke. Blue skirt with white apron. Heavy duty cotton. High neck with white lace trim. Yoke of yellow and white chec gathered onto neckband. Full length sleeves gathered into cuffs. Orange bodice with black ribbon lacing up the front. Revers or fichu of patchwork fabric on front and back, stitched on at shoulders and at waist. Fastens centre back with alternating hook and eyes, and poppers. Hook on inside front waist to fix to skirt loop. Lined with white cotton, fichu lined with yellow checked fabric. Label on side. Soft white cotton with blue polka dots. Waist ties. Gathered frill around edge. Appliqued egg basket and loose egg decoration. Two large patch pockets. Main fabric is blue printed cotton with floral design, with patchwork effect around hem. Black waistband. Front of waistband has a loop to attach to bodice hook. Placket at back with fastening of four large poppers and a hook and eye.
