DescriptionCrocodile skin handbag dating from the 1850's. The handbag has been in the Reeves family since the 1850s, the donor remembers her grandmother using it. It originally belonged to Amy Absolon (nee Chambers) from Colkirk in Norfolk. She was born in 1862 and married in 1890. She is known to have travelled extensively in Europe and to have visited South Africa twice.
