Collection of 35 wooden bobbins for lace, most with thread still on the end. Different types of wood, no decoration. Two have black and wooden beads on the end. With a small example of lace. In 6 boxes A - F. Box A: 7 wooden bobbins, no spangles, possibly Dutch?. Small bag of lace. Longest 100mm, shortest 93mm Box B: 7 wooden bobbins, no spangles, possibly Dutch? Three are wound with white cotton, three with black cotton. Longest 100mm, shortest 91mm Box C: 7 wooden bobbins, no spangles, possibly Dutch? Two have pieces broken off, five wound with cotton thread. Longest 98mm, shortest 85mm Box D: 7 wooden bobbins of dark wood, possibly Dutch? All wound with white cotton, one discoloured and misshapen. Longest 96mm, shortest 90mm Box E: 5 mismatched wooden bobbins in different shades of wood, two slightly damaged, three wound with white thread, one long and pointed not weighted at the end, none have spangles Box F: 2 thin wooden bobbins, indented with spirals, with spangles of glass beads and carved wooden beads.
