76 complete bobbins of various styles and 3 broken halves. The bobbins have a wide variety of spangles on the ends, including ones with buttons. In 10 crystal boxes A - J Box A: 10 pale wooden bobbins with glass spangles. Bobbins are decorated with spiral indentations, spangles are of metal wire threaded with between 3 - 11 beads of various sizes - mostly black but some have wooden buttons and beads of green, blue, pink, clear and amber. Longest 111mm, shortest 102mm Box B: 11 wooden bobbins with spangles (one has spangle missing). Bobbins are decorated with spiral indentations, each one is different, some are fairly plain with only two indentations, others are covered in indentations close together, spangles are of metal wire with between 4 - 11 beads of various sizes and colours - black, blue, clear, pink and amber. Longest 107mm, shortest 89mm Box C: 10 pale wooden bobbins with spangles decorated with spiral indentations, 8 have wide indentations made with a tool, 1mm across, 2 were indented with a much narrower tool. Spangles are of metal wire threaded with between 7 - 13 beads of various sizes and colours - mostly black, but with some of clear, yellow, amber, blue, green and wood. Longest 106mm, shortest 100mm Box D: 10 pale wooden bobbins with spangles (one spangle now missing). Bobbins are decorated with spiral indentations some close together covering the length of the bobbin, some have fewer indentations spaced further apart. The spangles are of metal threaded with beads of black, blue, white, clear, pink and amber. Longest 108mm, shortest 98mm Box F: 10 wooden bobbins with spangles, decorated with spiral indentation. One is also decorated with dots. Spangle of metal wire are mostly weighted with beads of black, pink, clear, white, blue and amber in various sizes, except for one with is weighted with two buttons. Longest 110mm, shortest 95mm Box G: 8 wooden bobbins shaped like long teardrops so they are heavier at one end. They are additionally weighted with spangles of metal wire threaded with 3 - 7 beads of blue, green, clear, amber, white, yellow and black. Longest 106mm, shortest 102mm Box H: 8 wooden teardrop shaped bobbins with spangles. Spangles of metal wire threaded with glass beads in clear, blue, amber, white, yellow and black, two have carved wooden beads. Box I: 4 wooden bobbins and one bone fork, two with spangles and glass beads. Box J: 1 complete wooden bobbin with spangle of glass beads, 3 broken wooden bobbin, and a piece of incomplete lace in cotton thread
