DescriptionBoys blazer from Oxford House School, Colchester. Grey wool outer with grey synthetic lining. With school badge on front breast pocket and dark pink braid edging. Worn by Fabien Breckels. c.1970-1978. Grey boys school blazer. Turn down collar with short revers. Set-in sleeves. Centre front fastening of three grey plastic buttons and button holes. Two patch pockets on front hips and one patch pocket on front left breast. Dark pink cord edging runs continuously around the collar, opening and bottom seam. There is a line of cord sewn around the sleeves 85mm from the openings. The pockets are also edged with the same braid. School badge sewn on to the left breast pocket - shield shaped with a border and 'Oxford House' embroidered with salmon pink cotton. Lined with a pin striped dark grey synthetic lining. Inside right breast pocket, closing with a metal zip inscribed 'lightning'. Hanging loop and name tag fixed on inside back collar. Makers label under zip in lining.
