DescriptionMid-length evening dress of burnt orange silk dupion. Sleeveless, heavily boned bodice. An integrated half overskirt creates a sweeping flap across the front of the dress and is finished in a pleated detail at a seam under the bust. Narrow, double shoulder straps are knotted mid-strap. Two self face fabric roses decorate the top right side of the bodice. Large and wide skirt flares from the hips. The skirt is lined with two layers of Vilene and a layer of net for stiffness and shaping. The bodice is lined in orange polyester lining fabric. Late 1950s early 1960s
