DescriptionOne of a pair of Roman copper alloy dice, discovered at Sheepen, Colchester. The face values are marked with double rings. Standard numbering (opposite face values add up to seven), Potter type 7 arrangement. The dice were associated with a dice box, all of which were burnt during the Boudican revolt and destruction of Colchester.
