Pierced dog's canine used as a pendant. There are traces of green copper staining at the end of the tooth, suggesting it once had a copper cap. It dates to the Roman period.This pendant was selected for the Wicked Spirits exhibition as it relates to forms of magical protection. Pierced animal teeth, like this dog's canine, have been worn around the neck for magical protection.
