DescriptionBarkcloth (masi kesa?). Rectangular piece of tapa with zigzg edges. Red and black on cream geometrical design, repeating vertical and horizontal lines with different infills. The design is divided vertically into two strips with alternate the design, horizontal opposite vertical. Early 19th century (or earlier?) Old label: "Cloth made of the inner bark of a tree" (label now missing). Returned from Pitt Rivers Museum. Presented by Mrs Edwards, Whitton 1874.
