DescriptionTjurunga (also spelt Churinga) made of wood, small, flat on one side and convex on the other. Designs of concentric circles, both small and large on both sides. The whole is covered in red ochre. A hole has been started at one end but does not penetrate. Marked on in black ink: '1928-205-12' and 'DLJ.837.77'. Collected from the Birdungu (Pidunga) tribe by Mr Emile Clement.
