DescriptionTobacco-pipe made of a cylinder of bamboo with various incised shapes containing hundreds of tiny cut-out crescents as decoration. One end of the pipe is open and one is closed. A dried leaf present at the open end and the name GRIMWADE written in pencil in the inside. One small hole on one side at the closed end and a grip fashioned from a branch coming from the bamboo. From the collection of Alderman J.H. [John Henry] Grimwade of Bacton House, Ipswich, presented by Councillor Sydney Charles Grimwade.
