DescriptionLure fish hook made from a bone barb attached through two holes to a pearlshell shank. A wooden support underneath and vegetable fibre lashing to secure. Remnants of white feathers as a hackle and a two-ply twisted vegetable fibre line. Number marked on in black ink: '1966.1.641' and 'Tahiti' and Tahiti written in pencil on the back.
