Descriptiongilded copper alloy Anglo-Saxon square-headed brooch, missing bottom lobe. The head of the brooch is decorated with entwined lines, resembling vines or rope, and gilding at two corners. The foot of the brooch is also decorated with a similar entwined vine or rope pattern. On the reverse, part of the pin attachment remains, and there is shiny residue suggesting that the brooch has been reconstructed from two parts.
