DescriptionAnglo-Saxon gilded square-headed brooch, with fine sheets of silver brazed onto the three lobes of the brooch. The head is decorated with a pattern including rows of triangles facing each other, and entwined lines. The foot is decorated with a pattern of incised lines and tiny dots punched in a single row down the bow the centre of the foot. On the reverse, there are the remains of the pin attachment.
