DescriptionIpswich ware- beige Anglo-Saxon coarseware pot. The pot has a rounded base, globular body and a raised lip. In the past, the pot has been broken into three sherds, however these have been reattached and conserved into one stable piece. This pot is whole with some damage. Mrs G ST John of Bacton Grange Nursing Home, aged 84 in 1996, states that they were found in the churchyard when she was a little girl. Mrs St John was at one time Patron of the Parish. Part number assigned as part of the Collection Information Programme in line with Conservation records.
