.A finds are from Pit 1 in Broadway Field, Grimstone End. .7 Anglo-Saxon bone tapestry needle. At one end, the needle is sub-triangular, with a hole pierced through it, keeping the shape of the original bone from which it was made. The needle tapers to a sharp point.
