DescriptionTjurunga (also spelled Churinga) made of wood, small and teardrop shaped, flat on one side and convex on the other. Decorated with grooves of chevron decoration on the flat side. A hole drilled for suspension. Old stuck-on label, half missing: 'Cambridge Gulf/W.Austral/1925-'. Collected by the missionary Rev V.N. Sherwin of the Forest River Mission at the request of Mr Alfred Bell.
