DescriptionCarved, wooden rattle, painted black (though much of this has worn off) and bi-conical in shape. There are two wooden peg-like pieces strung inside each end of the rattle that make the rattle noise when it is shaken., the index card states that the rattle was 'probably for Ekpe society'.
