DescriptionTwo very similar copper (alloy?) head scratchers or hair pins, with paddle shaped ends that have stamped decoration and with long, narrow stems that have pointed ends. The item was previously loaned to Ipswich Museum in 1934 as part of a large collection of Nigerian artefacts, by Charles Partridge. It was subsequently bequeathed to the Museum in Charles Partridge's will, dated 23rd December, 1955. It entered the collections in 1956. The items were accessioned with a sequence of R.1928 accession numbers.
