DescriptionBoat-shaped, wooden 'Mancala' game board or tray with two parallel rows of ten square holes on the front side, for playing the game, with 30 cowries included. according to the 1934 loan list, the mancala was from 'Mekwimmi' in Kukurukuland but it may have been either made or/and used there., The game board has a hand-written white paper label with red border attached to the pointed or 'bow' end but the writing is faded and illegible and another one on the underside that reads 'Mequimme / K'. The paper labels are ones that Partridge used.
