The lips are parted bearing some teeth. The skull is attached to a length of bamboo acting as a pedastal. The decorated head formed part of a complete figure, called a rambaramp which played an important part in the funerary ceremonies of the dead man. Collected in 1907 by Paymaster Lieutenant Commander F. W. Branford R.N. of Southbridge House, Bury St Edmunds in 1931 (retired).
