reddish brown pot, possibly red terracotta or Samian. Inside is shinier than the outside. The outside is unglazed and decorated with series of bands of incised diagonal lines. Evidence of reconstruction. Extension folder refers to the object as a 'bag beaker'. Marked 'Ipswich Castle Hill'.
