Descriptionone of a matching pair of Anglo-Saxon fibulae brooches. This brooch is the lighter of the pair, with shiny patches on the reverse. The centre of the head is decorated with a ring and dot decoration. There is a raised circular boss on the bow. The foot has a ring and dot decoration at the top, and lower down there are three raised lines. The end of the foot is possibly meant to resemble an animal - two raised bosses for eyes, two circles protruding from the side and the fan shaped end of the brooch representing a snout. Pin attachment survives on reverse.
