DescriptionIncomplete Anglo-Saxon bone comb. The comb is in two pieces. Parts of both of the plates survive, and are decorated with incised line decoration. The internal part of the comb which has the teeth is made up of five parts that have been attached together. Holes on centre five interior parts where rivets once held the comb together. One rivet survives attaching the interior part of the comb to the remaining pieces of the outer plates. Many teeth are missing.
