DescriptionThrowing knife or 'pingha' of the Azande or Fang people with three blades. The main shaft is slightly lash-curved, with a single sharp edge on the concave side, and ends in a triangular double-edged blade. At right angles to this sits another curved double-edged blade. At the base of the main shaft sits a curved, double-edged spur. The knife has no hilt, and the tang is roughened with notches.
