DescriptionPair of knives made of wood with three shark's teeth (on each knife) sunk into its length using two-ply twisted vegetable fibre binding and a vegetable fibre cord for carrying. The cord secures the pair together. Handwritten tied-on label: 'Instruments of warfare from New Zealand 1938.1.83 Mrs Carritt. Presented by Mrs Carritt. Index card reads 'possibly for cutting meat'.
