DescriptionTjurunga (also spelt Churinga) made of dark wood, round at either end. Pattern on flat side alternates between 4 sections of quarter circle sweeps, and then 5 sections of lines following the straight edge sides. Concave surface vertically grooved with 3 horizontal grooves either end. Marked on in black ink: '1944-73 J.R.M'. Purchased from the Trustees of the late Mr James Reid Moir.
