DescriptionPost office savings book made out to Samuel Walter Robert Blomfield. No. 2069. Most recent entry made in 1941. IPSMG: R.2017.4 is a collection of documents and ephemera relating to Pansy Wash and Samuel Blomfield (known as Kate and Robert), donated by Pansy's sister, Deanna Norris. The couple lived in Ipswich (social housing) during and after WW2. Pansy was a mechanical transport driver for the RAF and Samuel was in the army. After the war Pansy worked for Harvey's clothing factory and later delivered parts to garages. Samuel was a guardsman for the London North Eastern Railway.
