White ceramic baby's plate that was made to commemorate H.R.H. Princess Elizabeth. It is decorated with sepia photographic print of Princess Elizabeth as a small child at the centre. On the back of the plate there is a sepia printed inscription 'Reproduced by Paragon China Co. England/By special permission/of Her Royal Highness/The Duchess of York'. Underneath photographic portriat is inscription in sepia 'Our Empire's Little Princess/Born April 21st, 1926'. Gilt and red edging and on rim inscription 'Baby's Plate' in black printed lettering., printed sepia inscription for Paragon China on base and printed registration number 'Rd No.693723'
